Hit up the Grand Mesa, first time.. it is sweet! Lots of different terrain and endless boondocking. We arrived four or five days after a 30" storm and still found plenty of fresh snow. The base is much better over there and when we left they had another storm on the horizon. We stayed at the Grand Mesa Lodge, which was awesome. Mike and Rose are great people and will take great care of you! You can ride right out of your cabin to a number of different bars, our favorite was the Alexander Lake Lodge. We met the owners, had some amazing elk brats and home made chilli. One of the snowmobile guides and his brother put on a sick live music show. Those guys are really good!!
