Snowies

Got out Saturday to the Snowies since they opened Hwy 130. Good snow coverage up top still. Fun day. Tom's $200 yamaha is still having running issues, but that's no surprise for how much he paid for it.

Crazy Deep last weekend

Went to my Cabin on Elk Mtn north of the snowies this weekend. Rode Friday with Tom (tkuss), Jason, and Mac (Wyoboy1000). Flat light and pounding snow all day. First time I could ride my sled out of my cabin door all the way to the Snowies on the north side. Put on over 70 miles. Had to carry in extra gas. Saturday was so deep we just decided to ride at my cabin all day long. Only 3-5ft of fresh in spots LOL. Super wet/heavy snow. Below is a picture of Tom's XM at 8200ft!!!

Worst crash I've ever had. Hit a rock cropping that I didn't see till the last second doing about 50mph. I got tossed 30-40ft and landed on my head. Sled endo'd. Most likely gonna be a total. Took Jason, Tom, and I 6hrs to get it back to the truck 15 miles in the backcountry. Was a good day up to that point. Will probably have a 16 Axys and 16 Cat limited in the stable for next year.
