Good day on the mountain with Sylwester, Mike, Donna, Joe, Foster, Kevin H, Robert and Uncle Bob!

Uncle Bob breaking trail

Sylwester found some nice spots to park his sled on the lakes!

Then he found a creek. The high-jacker saved us!! 3 days in a row

We moved 1.5 metric tons of snow and ice.

Little traffic jam after a "bad dismount" - Uncle Bob

Pretty much endless pow for 800 square miles.. home sweet home

Donna joined the "stuck" club and dumped one in the trees climbing up outta the Granby's

Kevin said "What the hell, I'm in" and joined the fun...

We ended the day with no major damage and everyone still friends!! Well maybe a few damaged ego's. woo hoo

Front Range Crew on GM

The front range crew was visiting for a few days last week and pretty much hit it perfect. Great couple of days on the snow with tons of fresh pow and bluebird skies. Doesn't get much better than that! In attendance: Ryan Smith, George C, Ray Orr, Shane J, JP, the Beard, Darrel and Jimmy

Ryan Smith late day on the way back to the lodge

We stopped to have a fire and some hot food in the backcountry. Thanks Ray!

Back home at the lodge

The crew was wanting more so a full moon night ride was had. Until next time...

Creek Day!

We definitely found some creeks to play in today! After a morning ride, Kestrel, Austin and I went to help Donna on a snowmobile tour.

Rental sled rider from GMA found a deep one!

My bud Austin found one too! (first day on a sled)

1.1.2016 Grand Mesa Adventures

Tried to go on a ride out to the flattops yesterday and ended up smoking my primary clutch on '12 HCR half way in. Made it back to the lodge solo and was about to call it day (2 sleds down in 2 days is my limit) when I ran into Donna of Grand Mesa Adventures. She was responding to a SAR incident out near Lands End so she asked me to join Mike and take out a new years day snowmobile tour. We had a pretty good time and it was really awesome to see new comers to snowmobiling enjoying their first ride and the beautiful Grand Mesa. Mike and Donna have an awesome setup at GMA, they operate out of the historic Alexander Lake Lodge (run by the Chyc family, good friends of ours). If you are looking for an adventure on the Mesa, you found it!
