BACKCOUNTRY SNOWMOBILING: VAIL HELMET CAM

Mark H. made this sick little video from our trip a couple of weeks ago!

BACKCOUNTRY SNOWMOBILING: GRAND MESA LODGE AND ZONE 02.16.12 - 02.19.12

Hit up the Grand Mesa, first time.. it is sweet! Lots of different terrain and endless boondocking. We arrived four or five days after a 30" storm and still found plenty of fresh snow. The base is much better over there and when we left they had another storm on the horizon. We stayed at the Grand Mesa Lodge, which was awesome. Mike and Rose are great people and will take great care of you! You can ride right out of your cabin to a number of different bars, our favorite was the Alexander Lake Lodge. We met the owners, had some amazing elk brats and home made chilli. One of the snowmobile guides and his brother put on a sick live music show. Those guys are really good!! Go there! -> http://www.alexanderlakelodge.com/

Thanks Mark for the trip invite!

BACKCOUNTRY SNOWMOBILING: WYO 02.04.2012

Banger day.. insane deep! Went up to Wyoming to check out the snow conditions after this weird front range storm. We were stoked, found feet and feet of new snow. Almost too much, couldn't even get off the road.. way too deep with no base. We did break trail for about 40 miles or so.. pinned!
