North Shore Goods

February has been a good month for finding new stashes, scoring quality pow, and recon for spring trips. The past few weeks we’ve been finding great powder and stability on north facing terrain from Vail Pass to Edwards. The snowpack has settled a bit as we’ve seen some moderate warming trends in between storms. You can definitely tell that Spring is right around the corner. Most of the high peaks are wind scoured, but just as long as we get some good spring snows the late season promises to be one for the books.

After a several mile sled ride, a short skin, we arrived at the top of our zone for the day.

Then came the rewards. We took our first couple of laps down South Shore:

Temps warmed up quickly, so on our third lap we popped onto the other side of the ridge and skied nice and dry powder on North Shore:
