2006-2007 Season in Review Slideshow

 The other night I came to the realization the new season is slowly approaching and we haven’t yet paid homage to the great season the weknowsnow crew had in 2006-2007.  I always have a hard time making it through the late summer months as I’m sick and tired of the summer heat, hiking gets boring after a while, and there’s not enough snow around to make it a worthwhile outing.  Each year around the beginning of August I start to get the itch.  The days begin to get shorter, the nights cooler, and talk of when the first snow will hit becomes the important topic of conversation with your ski buddies.  Whether it be wiping the dust off my ski DVDs and watching countless hours of ski porn or making early season gear purchases with hopes the snow will start to fly sooner rather than later.    

For now, enjoy some of the highlights from last year.  It won’t be long until we are out there again chasing storms, searching for big lines, and enjoying the Colorado backcountry! Enjoy the slideshow:
