It includes some backend perl utilities that harvest data from CDOT, NOAA NWS, CAIC Avalanche Center and others in a central location. In addition, current conditions, information and trip reports from all aspects of the Colorado Backcountry are showcased. Running customized version of WordPress.


backcountrymaps.com is a GIS/Mapping site written in Ruby on Rails with a MySQL database backend. The web application allows the user to interact with Google Maps API and create routes, trips or submit trip reports. Extensions to the site allow a user to upload a Garmin GPS data file and have that route/information stored to backcountrymaps.com. Users are allowed to create private or public maps, and share those maps. The site features many pre-generated maps of interest for the Rocky Mountain Region.


cheetahfactoryracing.com offers the best backcountry snowmobile accessories. Based out of Pemberton, BC. Dave B. the owner, employed JP to maintain the existing site and also add an online store. Ecommerce web cart software was used to create an online store with Paypal and Credit Card ordering support. One key feature of the shop is that it will caculate the correct taxes for Canada.


thrillheadcreations.com film company site. This is a complete site redesign using Ajax and Web 2.0 hooks. Multiple splash screens and information boxes allow the sites owner to update graphics and news quickly. The backend of the site is a complete forum with MySpace clone extensions allowing for a large community and custom user profiles. Thrillhead Creations uses this site to promote it's newest films, projects and athletes.


drconstructioninc.com allows the owner of the site to update and make changes to a WYSIWYG backend. This allows the non-web-savy folks to make current changes and updates without having to contact a webmaster or network administrator. A key function of this site allows the owners to upload pictures, job descriptions, and manage the entire site from anywhere.


snowfilmer.com is an online home for snow sports filming. The site serves as a technical resource for all things relating to snow filming. The site supports over 1000 forum users, numerous articles and topics.


govideosolutions.com is a Ft. Collins based multimedia company specializing in online tours and real estate. The site is currently under construction but will feature uploadable content, online collaboration, and extensive Ajax / Web 2.0 multimedia functions.
