Way north today in the park. Logged another 12 miles, got some nice fish. Man was it a beautiful day, the bluebird sky was my motivation to press on. Blistered feet from hiking miles and miles in my Keens. I love the rockies.

Took Bones up fishing in the late afternoon, we scored some nice cutties. I was pretty stoked to have Bones on this trip, as no one wanted to fish anywhere near us! Thanks bro.

What just happened? We still really don’t know, but it seems we are plus 9 on the good fish karma. Went to explore a new spot in Indian Peaks Wilderness and it was simply amazing. Bushwhacked most of the day and probably did another 10 miles or so. We got some weird looks from people at the trailhead as Alex was in Chacos and I was in my Keens. I caught mostly brookies, and a couple of nice cuts. Alex taught the brookies a less as well and slayed the lake cuts…. I think he even scored a nice lake rainbow. The pictures:

Met up with the crew on K’s property near Tabernash. Finished up the loft/bunk area roof and walls. Installed the 3rd window over the bunk area and added some shutters. Front door and one last window, then its on to the floor and kitchen area.
