Colorado Backcountry: Fly Fishing IPW - 08.04.2007
What just happened? We still really don’t know, but it seems we are plus 9 on the good fish karma. Went to explore a new spot in Indian Peaks Wilderness and it was simply amazing. Bushwhacked most of the day and probably did another 10 miles or so. We got some weird looks from people at the trailhead as Alex was in Chacos and I was in my Keens. I caught mostly brookies, and a couple of nice cuts. Alex taught the brookies a less as well and slayed the lake cuts…. I think he even scored a nice lake rainbow. The pictures:

Money! Sometimes the long bushwhacks pay off BIG! Great Pictures on the day, awesome fishing and I’m thinking totals in the high 30, low 40 for fish caught and released!

Forgive my innocence but what does FKNA? You guys should rename this fishing expedition “Hustle and Flow”:) LOL. Keen and Chaco hook us up on the feet, the brookies and the cuts, jumping to our sheet… Whatdya think? Could I be a Fly Fishing spinner?
